The journey

What this journey feels like

Ten days create Malawi’s essential southern progression: tea highlands, the dry woodland of Majete, Zomba’s plateau air and a final chapter beside the lake.

Mostly two-night stays make the route feel measured. Zomba resets the pace between safari and shore, while the last night in Blantyre protects departure.

Why 10 days works

The essential trilogy

Highlands, safari and lake are given enough time to feel distinct without overloading the route.

A better road rhythm

Zomba turns the transition from Majete to the lake into a purposeful highland chapter.

An unhurried close

Two lakeside nights and a final departure buffer keep the end composed.
